New Arrival – Yosuke Kojima
We are pleased to announce the arrival of a new work by Yosuke Kojima, a ceramic artist based in Shigaraki.
His latest piece, the “Shigaraki Tanuki Guinomi (Sake Cup),” captures the warmth and character of Shigaraki ware with a delightful surprise—a small tanuki (raccoon dog), the beloved symbol of Shigaraki, quietly peeks out from inside the cup.
Playful yet refined, this charming work reflects Kojima’s unique artistic style and invites a smile with every use.
As each piece is individually handmade and wood-fired, no two are exactly alike. Every cup is a one-of-a-kind expression of the clay, the flame, and the artist’s hand.
